Copyright notice
Ownership, use of Kontxs materials and how to report a copyright concern.
Version 2026-10. Published .
Copyright information
Kontxs is provided by Kontxs Limited. Copyright in our software, website content, documentation, images, videos and design belongs to us or our licensors, where that material is protected by copyright. Material belonging to other people remains theirs.
This notice explains the permissions we offer and how to report a concern. It does not replace the Terms of service, a licence supplied with particular material, or rights you have under applicable law.
Customers and licensed use
Customers may use Kontxs for their business under the terms of service. If material comes with its own licence or written permission, that licence or permission sets the scope of its use.
A former customer’s right to use the product ends as set out in their agreement. Leaving Kontxs does not transfer ownership of their records to us. Any separate licence or written permission continues or ends according to its own terms.
Public marketing materials
You may reproduce marketing text, images and videos that we have made publicly available to describe or promote Kontxs, without asking us first, subject to the conditions below. This permission covers only material in which we own the relevant rights.
This permission is available to customers, former customers and others. It does not extend a right to use the product after an agreement ends. References to a past customer relationship must not imply that it is current.
- Credit Kontxs and link to the original page or material.
- Keep any Copyright notices and credits supplied with the material.
- Keep the material accurate and do not alter it in a way that changes its meaning or misrepresents Kontxs.
- Do not imply that we sponsor, endorse or certify you, or that you are an official Kontxs partner.
A suitable credit is “Source: Kontxs (Kontxs Limited)”, followed by a link to the original material.
This permission excludes our logo artwork, including our symbol and stylised wordmark, even where they appear in a marketing asset. It also excludes third-party material, application source code, product documentation, customer records and confidential or unpublished material. It does not permit selling our material as a standalone product, putting it on merchandise, or incorporating it into another product’s interface.
All other uses require our written permission unless they are allowed by applicable law or a separate licence. If you need permission to reuse a marketing asset containing our logo or someone else’s material, contact us before reusing it.
The Kontxs name and logo
You may refer to Kontxs by name in ordinary text to identify our product or company accurately. This does not permit reproducing our symbol, stylised wordmark or other logo artwork. Use of that artwork requires our written permission, unless applicable law or a separate licence permits it.
A reference to Kontxs must not misleadingly suggest sponsorship, endorsement or an official partnership. Third-party names, logos and store badges are covered by their owners’ rules; see our Trademark notice.
Your records and third-party materials
The records you put into Kontxs remain yours, as set out in section 10 of the Terms of service. You are responsible for having the rights needed to upload and use them. This Copyright notice does not give Kontxs ownership of your records.
Third-party photographs, text, software and other materials may have separate owners and licences. Permission from Kontxs covers only rights we are entitled to grant. Open-source software is governed by its applicable licences and notices; acknowledging a project’s name does not replace those requirements.
Screenshots and recordings
Screenshots and recordings that we publish as public marketing material may be reused under the permission and exclusions above. This permission does not extend to other screenshots or recordings of the application; their use must be covered by your agreement, separate permission or applicable law.
Screenshots and recordings can include customer records, personal information and third-party material. Make sure you have the necessary rights and permissions before sharing them, and remove information you are not authorised to disclose. This notice does not grant rights in someone else’s content or waive a confidentiality obligation.
Uses permitted by law
Applicable law may permit some uses without permission, including certain quotation, criticism, review, reporting, research or teaching uses. The conditions depend on the use and jurisdiction. Where acknowledgement is required, identify the source and copyright owner. Our permissions and exclusions do not remove those rights. See the UK Intellectual Property Office’s guidance on exceptions to copyright.
Requesting permission
For a use outside the permissions above, contact hello@kontxs.com. Include a link or description of the material, how and where you want to use it, whether you intend to change it, and whether the use is commercial. Sending a request does not itself grant permission.
Reporting a copyright concern
If you believe material on our website or in Kontxs infringes your copyright, contact hello@kontxs.com with:
- your name and an email address where we can reach you;
- identification of the copyrighted work and its owner;
- the URL or other information needed to locate the material concerned;
- an explanation of why you believe its use is unauthorised; and
- confirmation that you own the relevant rights or are authorised to act for the owner.
Please send only the information needed to identify and assess the concern. Avoid including unrelated personal or confidential information. We may ask for further details so we can understand the report. Information sent to us is handled as described in our Privacy notice.
